Access to proper healthcare is a challenge, especially in rural India and urban slum areas where healthcare is in a deplorable state having less than 4% of government primary healthcare facilities.
Underprivileged kids living in slums suffer from adverse health conditions because of a lack of awareness, lack of nutritious food, and inability to reach the nearest medical facility.
Thus health and nutrition for underprivileged kids is a desperate need that Lalita Memorial Foundation looks to address through its health and medical program designed for underprivileged kids.
We at Lalita Memorial Foundation realize that the need of the hour is to provide these marginalized kids access to quality healthcare services and promote health awareness programmes and educate them about the significance of good health.
In accordance with this view, we have initiated a child healthcare programme to provide basic medical facilities to underprivileged kids who are having health issues but don’t have access to any healthcare facilities. We ensure that these kids get basic medical treatments that will contribute to their health and well-being.
